Dr Shahnaz Aali is a distinguished Fertility Specialist and Obstetrician-Gynaecologist with a career spanning several decades. She earned her medical degree with honours before specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1990. She went on to complete further training and observation at the Royan Institute of Infertility (Iran), Cambridge University (UK), and Monash Medical Centre (Australia), culminating in a Fellowship in Assisted Reproductive Technologies and Infertility in 2008.
While on sabbatical in Australia as a professor from Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Dr Aali continued to build her academic and clinical expertise, subsequently achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2014
Her extensive experience covers a full range of assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures, including ovulation induction, egg retrieval, embryo transfer and related laparoscopic techniques. Dr Aali practises at Oasis Fertility Centre and South Perth Hospital, and is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach to fertility and gynaecology care.
