What to expect on your first visit:
During your first consultation, Dr Baruah will be asking for detailed information covering your medical and gynaecological history. Accuracy is important as it provides the information needed to assess and properly treat you.
At your appointment, Dr Baruah may perform a physical examination and take some histological samples or a CST (PAP smear)
Physical examinations can at first seem daunting, but there will be a nurse or chaperone in attendance and Dr Baruah will explain everything as he goes and help you feel supported and comfortable during this process.
