Dr Santanu Baruah is an Advanced Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgeon and Fertility Specialist. His professional journey commenced at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine (CRM), St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and the London Fertility Centre on Harley Street, London, before relocating to Perth in 2009.
Dr Baruah consults at Oasis Gynaecology at Warwick and also at Oasis Fertility Centre at South Perth and Warwick. He operates at Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, showcasing a special interest in minimal-access gynaecological surgery. He is accredited to perform complex gynaecological laparoscopy surgeries and he has received recognition from COEMIG (Centre of Excellence in Minimal Invasive Surgery) in 2015 and 2018, along with the Master Surgeon award in 2018 from the SRC (Surgical Review Corporation of the USA).
In 2024, Dr. Baruah realized his lifelong dream by founding the Oasis Fertility Centre in South Perth, ensuring that quality fertility services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. The centre, situated on the picturesque South Perth foreshore, boasts a custom-designed, state-of-the-art laboratory with the latest technology to provide a full range of fertility treatments. Additionally, Dr. Baruah has relocated his well-established gynaecology practice from Joondalup to a new Warwick location, rebranding it as Oasis Gynaecology. Fertility consultations are also available at the Warwick offices.
